Pepco is a fast-growing cash-based discount retailer of clothing and houseware with stores in small to medium-sized towns across Poland. Its target is the lower-income middle-class segment of the Polish population, focusing mainly on married female adults. Its mission is to give its customers the best possible value and service at the lowest prices everyday.

Pepco's range of clothing, footwear and accessories is aimed at satisfying the needs of the whole family, from babies through to adults of all ages. Its houseware range covers most semi-durable categories of kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom products in glassware and ceramics, plastics and textiles, focusing on affordable basics. Its offering of clothing and houseware is supplemented by a core range of basic household consumables and FMCG lines to provide a high level of convenience to shoppers.

In the 2013 financial year, Pepco opened 14 stores in Slovakia which are all trading very successfully. It plans to aggressively expand further into this and other Easter European countries in the next three years.
