Group Strategic Services uses the group’s scale and expertise to enhance efficiencies and keep costs down to benefit the various brands and operational businesses. This forms an effective operational backbone, allowing Pepkor to source and supply products – at the right price – to each of our 5 830 stores daily.
While Group Strategic Services manages key business elements, such as corporate and administrative services, the Pepkor brands are free to focus on servicing their customers and delivering on promises.
Corporate Services supports operating businesses through finance and treasury, human resources, internal audit, investor relations, legal, compliance and risk, marketing, and tax functions.
Centralising many of these day-to-day business and regulatory functions allow us to use our economies of scale to save administration costs, and it provides a holistic group approach to group compliance.
